As a member of the Research & Development Team, this candidate will operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts for electro-mechanical products. Specifically, tasks will include machining, welding, and inspection of subassemblies. You will set up and operate CNC mill and CNC lathe to machine precision metal parts/assemblies. You will be responsible for programming and editing of CNC machines, measure and inspect parts/assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications and ensure the output of quality products.
You will be responsible for understanding and complying with the quality policy, procedures, and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals, and environmental well-being.
Requirements are a minimum of a high school diploma; a two year technology degree is desired with 5 plus years of experience with close tolerance machining and experience with statistical process control and quality systems preferred. Additional required skills needed are CNC machine set up, programming skills, general welding experience and must be able to read, understand, and follow blueprints and diagrams.
